I was invited to view Lena Leday’s debut fashion line, she is known for her fabulous shoe designs, where she has taken plain high-heeled shoes and jazzed them up. She has now expanded her designs to women’s apparel. Lena Leday designs are one-of-a-kind couture pieces for the average sized women. Her designs the range from skirts to jackets to jumpsuits to dresses. Well, a picture is worth a million words so without further ado, check out Lena LeDay’s fashion line.

This was the 1st time that I had been to a bloggers conference of any sort and it was also the 1st year of the Houston Symposium. I really did not know what to expect from this event but I went in ready to absorb any information that would help me develop into a better blogger. When I walked out of the elevator on the 11th floor, I was warmly greeted and told to retrieve my name tag and the name of my table. I was handed a glass of champagne and ushered into the event room. The room was packed with stylishly dress women and I knew I was in the right place. I quickly found my table and I began to introduce myself to the women also seated at my table. There were familiar faces and new ones too. I was so excited to mingle and make new friends.
The panel was women who are fashion bloggers, DIY bloggers and Life Style bloggers. They all told us how they got started as bloggers and the challenges of blogging. Some of the women started blogging from inside a dark place and blogging helped them out, while others starting blogging because they were in new places in their lives (becoming mommies). The one thing that they will had in common was, they shared their lives with the world through blogging.
There were also boutiques that were at the event and they brought some of their stores clothing, jewelry and handbags for anyone to buy. Basically the boutiques came to us instead of us to them. Amongst the boutiques were Langford Market, Em&Lee and Willa, Francesca’s, The Impeccable Pig.
